Want to make your own over-the-top glam pirate hat? Here。This holiday season, I found my inspiration in creating hat bands and hat accessories. Searching for new and vintage hats, each one is inspired by an incredible woman in my life. I made each with the intent of giving the wearer the option of removing the hat band whenever they would like, without causing damage to the hat. The California Dawn is created from an adjustable, faux wool hat in a caramel latte shade. I removed the original hat band ( it was blah), and replaced it with a layered band featuring a distressed champagne velvet ribbon topped with a cream antique lace layer. She’s finished off with a soft plume of feathers and a western concho. This is a wider brim fedora that gives western bohemian vibes. Historically, Cowboys and vaqueros tucked feathers in their hat band, on the side to signify a personal accomplishment, or for spiritual symbolism. She\'s got lots of style and grace, and proudly displays her western heritage- much like her namesake. Will fit size small to extra large, I do not recommend for XS.
