I\'ve bought several, so I\'ve gotten pretty familiar with the quality and construction. If you\'re shopping for ALO clips on here, be careful! The easiest giveaway on fake ones is the metal spring part. On authentic clips (photos 1 & 2), the spring is fully covered. On the counterfeit clips (photos 3–5), the metal spring is exposed. I\'ve unfortunately been duped buying what I thought were authentic ALO clips, only to receive counterfeit ones. Again, after purchasing directly from ALO, I\'ve learned what the real ones should look and feel like compared to the fakes. If you\'re considering spending $25+ on one of these counterfeit clips, it may be worth spending another $10–$20 for an authentic one that will actually hold up over time.
