Tilt it like it。This is a truly stunning black felt tilt hat from the fashionable 40s\'! The hat consists of a round felt structure with priceless brown mink around the front and sides. There are 2 felt bands attached to the inside of the hat, held together by an elastic \"O\" ring. There are beautiful gold furry fabric \"roses\" attached to one of the bands. A full veil cascades down to cover the face, or it can be placed towards the back, covering the hair. Tilt hats were popular in the 1930s and 1940s. They were worn at an angle and held to the back of the head by a strap, rigid ring, elastic band beneath the hair, an extended cap, or a combination of these. 30s Fashion certainly seemed fussier than the 1920s with its relentless ornaments of bows, trims and frills.
